JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans and programs aligned with Sadara’s strategic business plan and deliver sales volume target and profitability.

Functional Duties:
  • Coordinate with product management and sales units in developing product pricing and sales plan to align and consolidate efforts and plans.
  • Collaborate with the sales division in the sales process to achieve market share gains within key customers segments.
  • Partner with sales to achieve new product gains by promoting Sadara’s products in key accounts.
  • Coordinate with the product management division to develop a marketing mix of value-added chemical and plastics products that will successfully target Sadara’s customers.
  • Define market position and market plans for existing products as well as launch execution strategy, brand strategy and value proposition for line extensions, and minor product modifications and new products.
  • Conduct market research, market analysis and competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities and develop marketing plan and activities accordingly.
  • Optimize the allocation of funds to maximize ROI and allocate sufficient resources towards promising projects.
  • Review Sadara’s product mix regarding both profits and risks in consultation with production planning, and ensure they are targeted towards Sadara’s customers.
  • Develop and execute successful product launches by creating launch plans, support materials, and training for sales teams.
  • Ensure that all marketing strategies adhere to Sadara’s regulations and ethical code of conduct.
  • Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Managerial Duties:
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by Division staff.
  • Ensure that all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.
  • Assess the level of skills employees and identify the need for development programs.
  • Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.
