The Food & Beverage Manager position is responsible for all food and beverage operations in the resort, which currently consists of 3 restaurants, 24-hour room service and functions for groups and events.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee service standards in all food and beverage outlets to ensure guest expectations are consistently exceeded;
  • Recruit, train and manage a large team;
  • Control operating costs whilst driving revenue and exceeding profit targets;
  • Manage operating inventory;
  • Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
  • Plan and implement departmental budget;
  • Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to our guests;
  • Implement the company’s Food and Beverage concepts as directed;
  • Overseeing all aspects of the guests’ Food and Beverage experience;
  • Performs other tasks as requested by the General Manager;
  • Reports to the General Manager.
This position requires:
  • At least 5 years experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 3 years experience as Food & Beverage Manager in a 5-star operation;
  • Fluency in business English is mandatory. Other language capabilities are desirable, but not essential;
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills;
  • Strong ability to delegate, multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Hard working with stamina and a high level of energy.
