EVENTS COORDINATOR

The Events Coordinator will work closely with the Events Manager, assisting in organizing on-site and off-site events, coordinating participation at specialized trade shows, providing event management support to all departments of the company or third parties organizing on-site events, assisting in sale of the on-site event spaces.
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Assisting in development, production and delivery of events from the proposal to the actual realization;
- Delivering projects on time, within the allocated budget, and meeting expectations;
- Preparing, communicating and updating event rundowns/agendas for every project;
- Maintaining good relationships with clients and suppliers;
- Managing operational and administrative tasks to ensure the event is efficiently delivered;
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery;
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Daily activities usually include:
- Communication with clients and suppliers;
- Producing proposals;
- Managing the budget;
- Securing bookings;
- Coordinating venue management and staff;
- Selling event spaces to potential clients;
- Liaising with designers to create the event support, liaising with marketing and PR team to promote the event;
- Handling clients requests and troubleshooting on the day of the event so everything runs smoothly;
- Overseeing dismantling of the event and clearing the venue;
- Post-event evaluation.
Qualifications:
- University degree - ideally in marketing, but not obligatory.
