Reports to: Finance Controller

Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in procurement and storekeeping,
  • Has the ability to communicate in English,
  • Has strong will to work very flexible working hours and has the ability to work under pressure,
  • Has basic knowledge of Excel.
Essential job functions:
  • Receiving all material items to the stores. Verifying the quantity and the price of the items received, with delivery docket, purchase request / purchase order, invoice. Reporting to the supervisor for any discrepancies.
  • Processing the items received in material module of accounting software.
  • Processing all internal material transfers and issues to departments, in material module of accounting software.
  • Reporting and processing spoilages, breakages in material module of accounting software.
  • Keeping track of minimum stock levels at all times and placing purchase request / order whenever required.
  • Monitoring slow moving and obsolete items and reporting when they occur.
  • Keeping stores tidy and organized at all times ensuring smooth operation in the stores and easy physical inventory process.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor / manager.
