Job Description: Front Office Manager Department: Front Office, Level 1 Reporting directly: General Manager
Summary We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and passionate Front Office Manager to join the Lazure Hotel & Marina team in Herceg Novi, Montenegro managed by Sophos Hotels SA. The Front Office Manager assumes full responsibility of all Front Office operations and administration, as well as guest experience. It is the responsibility of the Front Office Manager to accommodate and satisfy the requirements of all the hotel guests and to coordinate the resources available to ensure the hotels capacities and its standards of services are maintained at the highest possible level.
Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Lead and manage all aspects of the Front Office department and ensure all service standards are followed and quality standards maintained
Consistently provide thoughtful, caring and sincere service
Maximize rooms’ revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing upon Revenue Management strategies
Analyze the data and make decisions based on experience and knowledge of circumstances to prepare daily forecast of expected arrivals and departures
Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures
Maintain excellent communication with other Heads of departments
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire Team Members to exceed standards
Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas
Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards
Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
Manage the departmental budget
Ensure that safety policies are obeyed
In collaboration with the heads of department, develops processes and defines or adjusts operational actions enabling the hotel to deliver a product and service that matches the guest promise as closely as possible.
Qualification & Experience
Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
At least 2 years’ experience as Front Office Manager
Luxury hotel background is essential
Proven leadership skills, highly responsible & reliable, attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
English & local: excellent writing and speaking skills, other foreign languages would be an advantage.
