Events Manager
We are seeking an Events Manager to manage our busy global calendar of trade shows in Europe, USA and Asia.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The primary role is liaising with new world wineries about our calendar of EU/US/Asia trade shows;
- The secondary role is to discuss export sales with the same group of wineries;
- Managing and building strong relationships with the wineries over time;
- Managing the organization of trade shows;
- Travel to trade shows in Europe, USA and Asia as required with the sales team, to hold client meetings with wineries;
- Travel to the wine regions for client meetings with wineries as required;
- Working closely with and assisting the EU sales, events and logistics team as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree or equivalent in a related field;
- Good written and spoken English;
- Spanish advantageous.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven wine/events sales experience and success, or proven sales experience in another field;
- Wine knowledge and wine industry experience preferred;
- Exceptional customer relationship skills;
- Ability to work unsupervised to meet sales targets.
