Job description:
  • Contributes actively to the development of a Destination Marketing Strategy
  • 4Ensures compliance with established standards and procedures to ensure coherent and consistent Brand Identity is established
  • Develops the Destination Marketing Plans to ensure alignment with the overall Business strategy
  • Manages the execution of all overall Destination marketing activities in line with the approved Marketing plan, ensuring consistency, quality and reviewing effectiveness
  • Follows up on the results from Destination campaigns and events, providing recommendations on future activities
  • Actively owns the development of the Annual Destination Events Plan to ensure the delivery of a diverse and engaging schedule of events, designed to support the promotion of the Destination
  • Cooperates with internal stakeholders, the wider Destination Management Team and Finances to plan and deliver an integrated event offering
  • Manages the coordination of the technical, facilities management and Food & Beverage support to deliver events
  • Develops and submits for approval the Destination Marketing budget
  • Maintains budgetary cost control within to achieve cost effectiveness and deliver the approved destination marketing plan and events within budget
  • Staff supervision as required
Minimum job requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing management, especially in destination management and events management
  • 2 years’ experience of using social media and digital marketing as communication and promotional tools
  • University degree in Marketing Management, Business management, Communications or similar
  • Fluent in Montenegrin and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrating history of innovation and excellence in developing and delivering a prestige brand
