A newly opened luxury boutique hotel in Sveti Stefan is looking for ambitious, experienced hospitality professionals to ensure a successful hotel launching and exceptional guest experience for the season (throughout the year)! Job description:
- Support the Executive Chef
- Take responsibility of all appropriate management tasks in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Organise and drive the culinary department and project a positive and motivated attitude amongst all team members
- Create a weekly staff meal planning within food cost limits and ensure its quality and execution
- Control stock levels and ordering
- Ensure that all items are prepared as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
- Ensure that all food products received into the hotel are of the required standard and quality and that they are stored and rotated correctly
- Ensure that the culinary department adheres to all company and hotel policies and procedures
- Responsible for the supervision of all kitchen hands and their activities
- Ensure that the overall culinary department is motivated and that positive feedback on work performance is given
Minimum job requirements:
- Hotel Management Graduate/ Culinary Degree or Higher
- As least 10 years’ experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service hotel
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous experience in luxury establishments preferred
