Coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
Identify the factors that shape Hotel’s appeal to customers; monitor customer reviews on website and Hotel booking sites to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Hotel.
Developing promotions, to increase occupancy during times of lower occupancy.
Creating and running special events or incentives that can help attract more guests and generate revenues
Identify marketing priorities and review occupancy forecast to plan dates for promotions to increase occupancy rates.
Coordinating all public relations activities and managing social media accounts
Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media, managing social media accounts
Develop a corporate database and build relationships with travel agencies, event companies & PR’s.
Communicate all promotional activity to corporate client database.
Provide a weekly update of ongoing projects, weekly meetings and appointments.
Highlight key influencers and build relationships with them
Manage ongoing marketing and promotion of Hotel to include marketing materials & point of sale, email marketing & SMS
Ensure all marketing communication is up to date including website, third parties and booking website.
Job requirements:•
Previous experience in Marketing & PR positions, preferably in 4 or 5 star hotels.
Has the ability to communicate effectively in English, other languages are an advantage
