Job Description: Food and Beverage Manager
Department: Food & Beverage, Level 1
Reporting directly: General Manager

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join the Lazure Hotel & Marina team in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The F&B Manager is responsible for the efficient operations of all Food and Beverage Department of the hotel. He/ she collaborates with the Executive Chef to ensure that guests always receive the highest level of food and beverages service in accordance to the company policies and standards. 

Key responsibilities 
  • Direct and supervise all F&B operations at close range by being physically involved in all aspects of the operations
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef on the design of menus, buffets and other F&B service offers
  • Ensure the regulations of the highest food hygiene standards
  • Conduct daily and monthly communication meetings to ensure an effective flow of information within the department
  • Ensure that guests feel welcomed and comfortable in all F&B outlets in all places where F&B Services are provided, anticipate and attend to guests needs in all F&B outlets to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
  • Ensure that guests are properly informed and guided as to the choices available to them in terms of F&B services
  • Meet guests regularly, listen to and discuss their preferences to ensure the best possible fit between guest's expectations and services provided
  • Deal promptly with customer complaints and launch service recovery procedures whenever necessary
  • Promote incremental sales revenue in the F&B department
  • Monitor F&B budgets and costs as per company policy
  • Control inventories of F&B commodities, small equipment and other consumables
  • Ensure adequate yield and profitability of F&B operations
  • Continuously introduce new concepts and ideas to develop the F&B services.
  • Initiate, supervise and monitor the implementation of appropriate training to enhance the level of knowledge, skills and attitude of F&B personnel
  • Ensure that the F&B Human Resources are well motivated and that all staff problems are promptly resolved
  • Ensure that F&B personnel is recognized and adequately rewarded for the performances
  • At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
Qualifications& Experience

We expect the candidate to have a Degree in Hospitality Management or related field and at least 2 years international experience in the capacity of Food and Beverage Manager at Luxury Hotels and Resorts. Preferred pre-opening experience, but not must. Excellent communication skills in English and local language, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Highly responsible & reliable.
