What we need:
- University Degree in Accounting &/or Finance
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Desirable:
- Certified Accountant
- Experience of Sun Systems and Vision
- Experience of MNE tax compliance
- Experience of group consolidation procedures
- Experience of transfer pricing and tax issues
What you’ll be accustomed of doing:
- Ensures the monthly balance and reconciliation process for suppliers, customers, banks and shareholders.
- Ensures the integrity of the data held within the finance systems.
- Assists in the preparation and drafting of financial statements, reports and analysis.
- Processes and maintains the general ledger and ensures that financial transactions are accurately reflected in line with relevant accounting principles and practices.
- Maintains the receivable accounting process to ensure transactions and other receivable accounts are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains the payables accounting process to ensure that supplier and vendor transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains and reconciles all tax accounts (i.e. VAT, Corporate Tax, withholding tax), calculating differed tax assets & liabilities, and producing all reports as necessary.
- Assists in coordination of audits by various taxation authorities.
