We are currently looking to hire a Receptionist for our Sports Club, to become a part of a friendly environment, ensuring the day-to-day operation of the front desk is undertaken and guests experience is at the highest quality.
Sports Club Receptionist truly influences the first impressions of our members and, therefore, is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
- Welcoming and greeting Sports Club visitors;
- Handling incoming calls and bookings;
- Checking in members and verifying memberships;
- Promoting, registering and collecting fees for all classes and services offered;
- Taking care of tennis court activities such as lighting, reservations and fees;
- Actively selling shop merchandise, classes and services;
- Selling supplies of snacks and drink items;
- Handling the rental of racquets and towel;
- Handling membership payments, cancellations and freezes;
- Cash - handling;
- Handling the upkeep of all equipment to the highest standard;
- Maintaining a neat and clean desk and lobby at all times;
- Organizing cleaning and ensuring floor mats are washed properly and on time;
- Ensuring that the reception area is stocked with office supplies;
- Other duties, as assigned by Supervisor.
A successful Sports Club Receptionist will have the following:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a front office/customer service field;
- Friendly, cheerful and outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills;
- Fluency in English language;
- An engaging, polite and professional approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service;
- Cash register experience;
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a guest;
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate through Company systems.
