REPORTS TO: Front office manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
To be a dedicated Team Leader, responsible for providing and maintaining exceptional service according to the management philosophy, which serves as a guide in relevant areas of the Front Office area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing arrival, departure tasks and handling payments.
- Ensuring that Nikki Beach standards are being followed at all times.
- Consistently providing intuitive, caring and sincere service.
- Ensuring that guest concerns are openly shared in the Guest Experience.
- Working closely with the Housekeeping and the Reservations team to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Being visible in guest view for the major portion of the work period.
- Ensure appropriate communication takes place with all associates in the Front Office department.
- Building strong and effective working relationships at all levels across the Company.
- Maintaining a clean and pleasant appearance, and give the impression of a reputable and organized service provider.
- Any other special tasks assigned on an ad hoc basis by the Front Office Manager.
- Monitoring daily operations of Front Office team and controlling daily reports.
- Creating VIP arrival list and preparing amenities reports.
- Acting as shift leader in absence of Assistant Front Office manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace, English and one more foreign language.
- Work experience in Opera PMS is advantage.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
- Working under supervision and achieving maximum results from myself and the team.
- Have proper work discipline, a smooth communication and teamwork.
- Being proactive at all times.
- Having the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be a team player with first class people skills.
- Having the ability to deliver results within a driven environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ensuring careful handling and maintenance of all talent resources related equipment and company assets
Experience
2 years of experience as a Front office team leader or in similar Customer Service related position.
