Night Receptionist
Front Office Department

Role essence: 

• Responsible for leading and managing all sections of the Hotel during the night shift in order to ensure the highest level of security, standards of service in accordance with procedures and policies
• Smoothly running of the hotel operations during the night

Job Description:

• Welcoming and greeting guests 
• Performing check-ins and check-outs 
• Ensuring that guests receive the highest quality of service leading to experience that will be memorable and encourage returns
• Covering the night shifts at the front office
• Strict adhering to LQA Standards
• Gathering and sharing all useful information about guests and their preferences, requests, needs and habits
• Handle all guest complaints occurring during the night and keep the hotel log book on complaints
• Greet VIP guests upon their arrival and escorts them to their room
• Responding to all guest inquiries
• Patrol the hotel during the shift to ensure that the hotel is clean, tidy, safe and take corrective actions if needed
• Keep abreast all emergency procedures, hotel promotions, product knowledge, VIP arrivals, upcoming events 
• Performing the day-end closing
• Understand the impact of department actions on the overall property financial goals
• Ensure all existing policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently
• Other duties within the Guest Experience, Concierge or Front Office spectrum

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Traits:

• University or High School Degree
• Highly responsible, extremely organized, passionate about hotel industry and customer service
• Customer oriented personality
• Able to work in night shifts
• Outstanding orientation to details and accuracy in daily work
• Superb communication and presentation skills
• Appealing and pleasant appearance
• Knowledge of LQA Standards would be considered as a significant advantage
• Previous experience in night shifts is desirable
• Previous knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred, not mandatory (full training will be provided)
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Excellent knowledge of local and English language, both verbal and written
• At least 1 year experience in upscale hotel in Front Office department or in a similar role
