As one of our software developers, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that utilize your expertise in OpenGL and/or WebGL to create immersive visual experiences both in a front-end development environment and for our cloud based rendering engine. We are creating ground breaking graphics solutions, and you will help create graphics software that captivate broadcast and digital media audiences worldwide.
NIMBUS Media is headquartered in New York, with offices in New York City, Norway and Montenegro, and we are establishing support and sales centers in Ireland, Singapore and Tokyo.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with our team of experienced developers to design, develop, and implement high-performance graphics applications using OpenGL and WebGL.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that push the boundaries of real-time rendering and visual computing.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in graphics programming to continuously enhance your skills and expertise.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Very good to excellent mathematics skills
- Solid understanding of computer graphics principles and algorithms.
- Cloud computing experience a strong plus, Kuberneteskubernetes, front-end/back-end (FE/BE) communication
- Some experience in database application development and/or use of PostgreSQLmySQL or other major platforms
- Proficiency in OpenGL and/or WebGL development, thorough understanding of principles, and previous experience will be beneficial.
- Some experience in working in a Cloud environment a plus
- Some experience in working within a Linux (Ubuntu) environment a plus
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or similar. (depending on position FE or BE developer)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong English skills, both professionally and socially.
- Strong presentation skills, including public speaking and internal communication
- High capacity to work at times of high pressure for delivery of project deadlines

Positions are assigned to our partner and technical development management company Develoop D.o.o. in Podgorica, Montenegro; and applicants must be willing to work from this location. Applicants must have current legal work visa status for Montenegro. The positions offer some hybrid work flexibility, but physical presence at the office location is generally expected. Some international travel, to visit with colleagues from our global offices as well as visits with partners and customers, must be expected.
