Relevant experience in procurement and storekeeping,
Has the ability to communicate in English,
Has strong will to work very flexible working hours and has the ability to work under pressure,
Has basic knowledge of Excel.
Essential job functions:
Receiving all material items to the stores. Verifying the quantity and the price of the items received, with delivery docket, purchase request / purchase order, invoice. Reporting to the supervisor for any discrepancies.
Processing the items received in material module of accounting software.
Processing all internal material transfers and issues to departments, in material module of accounting software.
Reporting and processing spoilages, breakages in material module of accounting software.
Keeping track of minimum stock levels at all times and placing purchase request / order whenever required.
Monitoring slow moving and obsolete items and reporting when they occur.
Keeping stores tidy and organized at all times ensuring smooth operation in the stores and easy physical inventory process.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor / manager.
