We are currently looking for Stock Controller for shops at Podgorica and Tivat Airports.

Main responsibilities:

To ensure the integrity of the stock within all Montenegro Duty Free locations. Working with the compliance, logistics and operational teams, the main purpose of this position is to complete regular audit checks of all locations in line with organisational expectations and ARI Way procedures. Completing regular cycle checks along with full stock audits, the primary focus will be to identify discrepancies and exceptions that can promptly be resolved to minimise any potential risk to the organization.

Qualifications
 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in Retail and/or Supply Chain stock control
• Effective communication skills – written and oral
• Capability to operate in a complex fast-moving environment
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
• An analytical and solutions focused approach.
• Minimum high school degree is required
• Fluent in English is an essential requirement for this role
• Driving license B

Responsibilities

Driving Sales

• Responsible for Stock integrity and Stock shrinkage
• Responsible for security of all stock, maintaining a stock loss figure of less than 1% COGS
• Partake in and complete full stock counts across all locations operated by the company
• Complete regular cycle counts across all locations to ensure that stock integrity is maintained in line with tolerance levels
• Set up and conduct OSA audits as per ARI Way SOP
• Lead the OSA Improvement process to reach the target of 97% On-Shelf availability
• Identify and suggest process improvements to ensure that the business is working to best practice standards
• Communicate with all relevant business functions promptly to escalate any potential issues and also minimise ongoing risk within the business.
• Use the Buying and Supply portal to escalate stock and promotional issues
• Reconcile stock files and accurately complete investigations where discrepancies are identified.
• Work with the Merchandisers and the Logistics and Operational teams to ensure that stock locations are maintained in line with set expectations
• Audit stock movements, write-offs and transfers to ensure that all processes meet company process expectations and are in line with Customs audit requirements
• Complete checks on stock with expiration dates to ensure that the correct procedures are being followed to expectation
• Complete stock checks within the warehouse facility to ensure that the KPI’s and service levels are being maintained
• Audit stock being received into the airport from the warehouse to ensure that accuracy and integrity is maintained

General

• Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained and suggest improvements where necessary to the Retail Manager
• Complete any other tasks as requested by the Retail Manager as and when requested
• Maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders
• Be committed to following health and safety policy and procedures.
• Shall work with Operations team to ensure all staff moving merchandise carry proper documentation
• Shall ensure the security of stock movement within the Retail area
• To carry out any other exceptional duties as determined by the business from time to time
• Adhere to company HR, Administration and IT policies

Important note: This role is based at Podgorica Airport with occasional tasks at Tivat airport shop.
