JOB DESCRIPTION
- provide hands on kitchen management whilst working in your section, demonstrate hygienic and health & safety working practices throughout service
- demonstrate excellent culinary and knife skills
- responsible for the preparation and execution of top quality Mediterranean dishes and recipes as directed by the Executive Chef
- maintaining high standards of cuisine during service to ensure quality assurance and consistency of production
- provide a strong work ethic in the section and nurture demi chefs in their learning and development
- ability to work flexible shifts and under pressure
QUALIFICATIONS/FORMAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Work experience of minimum 2 years on the same position is required; fine dining experience is huge advantage
- English is required as mandatory language
- Type of education: City & Guilds or a professional cookery qualification, Level 2 Food safety and hygiene is necessary for this position
- Meals are provided on duty
- There is a 2 months period of introduction for job tasks
- The work permit process takes around 2 months
- Job can last for a years, if both sides are satisfied
