ADRIATIC42, a first-class yard for the servicing, maintaining and repairing of yachts and superyachts, is a joint venture company of Drydocks World (a DP World company) and PM holding (wholly owned by investment Corporation of Dubai – ICD). ADRIATIC42 is strategically located in one of the safest natural harbors in the world; the enclosed Boka Kotorska Bay in Montenegro. Our aim is to redevelop it by employing the latest equipment and the industry’s most cost-effective new techniques and services to bring the country’s renowned sector skills to the Mediterranean/Adriatic Yacht market.
We are now recruiting to put the right team in place to take this venture forward!
Subsequently an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Manager IT to take over the responsibility to develop an ICT strategy, policies, and department plan, including resources, budget, and risks (e.g., operational support, infrastructure, applications, architecture, (cyber) security.

Required qualifications, experience & skills
- Master or bachelor’s degree in ICT and/or technical business administration or other relevant technical study.
- At least five years of experience in the development of an ICT department in a high secure technical ICT (project) environments, preferable in the maritime / defence or related industry.
- You have gained hands-on experience in (re)design of ICT business processes and implementation and support of complex ICT systems and Infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of English
- Competences: customer and results orientation, teamwork, behavioural flexibility, quality orientation, leadership, coaching, planning, and organising, problem analysis, identifying problems; initiative and persuasiveness.
- Develop and implement the ICT strategy, policies, and department plan and acquire budget approval.
- Monitor and control the overall progress and roll-out of the ICT masterplan.
- Develop, improve, and secure processes, procedures, and portfolio management to improve business support.
- Lead and/or contribute to the design, optimization, and development of (tailor-made) solutions and ensure implementation of changes and improvements based on existing solutions and systems.
- Ensure a maintained infrastructure and /or delivered services in line with business needs and SLA’s.
- Ensure and direct initiation, development, and implementation of (digital) transformations and changes (both from a people and a hardware perspective) in line with the assigned strategy.
- Attract, lead, enable, coach, appraise and ensure staffing the team.
- Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders and partners and in line with business needs.
- Setup and maintain business support and vendor arrangement
- Keep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and best practices in line with business needs.
- Provide advice to MT and senior & project management on development and integration of projects, development of the strategy and plans based on reports and analyses and from an ICT perspective.
- Accountable for the overall progress and contracting the right partners to execute the ICT masterplan and engage business and management for support and governance.
