Our office is growing, and we are looking for an Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join our office in Podgorica.  

Job Description:

• Will be in charge of all accounting functions of clients

• Daily book-keeping

• Handling TAX/VAT matters

• Reconciliations

• Payroll processing – calculations of monthly salaries, process correct garnishment calculations

• Payroll tax and contributions compliance – producing and submission of the tax reports for the Tax authorities

• Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary

• Preparation of monthly and annual tax reports and income calculations for legal entities and physical persons, as well as corporate income tax and personal income tax

• Understanding the client’s business needs and identifying risks, barriers to success and changes in expectations or scope of work

• Representation of the company and clients in front of the relevant institutions such as the Tax Administration, PIO fund, Ministry of Interior, and other relevant Authorities

Requirements – What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant accounting and payroll processing for legal entities and individuals

• Knowledge of book-keeping and general accepted accounting principles

• Accounting qualifications, bachelor’s degree

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Knowledge of tax laws for individuals and legal entities, knowledge of labour law and laws on foreigners, and international treaties on the avoidance of double taxation and social security agreements

• Self-motivated & enthusiastic to learn and develop

• Analytical and attention to detail

• Team player

• Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll software Pantheon will be considered as an advantage
