Marina Operations Manager / Harbour Master

Job Description:
As the Marina Operations Manager / Harbour Master, you will oversee the seamless functioning of the marina and ensure an exceptional experience for all guests and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, enhancing guest services, supervising a dedicated team, and maintaining the overall logistics of the marina. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing and enforcing safety protocols and fostering strong customer relations with vessel owners. This role demands a deep understanding of maritime operations and a keen eye for maintaining marina infrastructure and yacht maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Take charge of the smooth functioning of day-to-day marina operations, including maintenance and efficient allocation of resources.
- Guest Services Enhancement: Guarantee an outstanding and secure experience for every guest by promptly addressing their concerns and providing necessary assistance.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Lead, train, and mentor the marina team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Logistics Oversight: Manage yacht allocation, provisioning, and inventory to ensure a well-prepared and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Safety Implementation: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maritime regulations, prioritizing the well-being of guests and staff.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with vessel owners by handling inquiries, feedback, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of maritime operations and a profound understanding of marina infrastructure and yacht maintenance.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in English, with a reasonable command of the Montenegrin language being advantageous.
- Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, setting a positive example for the team.
- Capable of thriving under pressure and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Possesses a valid driving license and, preferably, a diving certificate.
- Holds a Yacht Master Certificate or a Boat Skipper Certificate.
