Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival at the hotel: Providing a warm and friendly welcome to guests, creating a positive first impression and making them feel valued and comfortable.
- Checking in and out guests in accordance with hotel standards: Efficiently handling the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy in guest information and adhering to hotel procedures. Collecting payments for hotel bills and providing guests with necessary documentation.
- Managing the reception computer system and room availability: The receptionist is responsible for effectively operating the hotel's computer system, managing room availability, and ensuring accurate updates regarding room status and reservations.
- Coordinating with the housekeeping service: The receptionist works closely with the housekeeping department to ensure that rooms are cleaned and prepared for guest occupancy in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with the reservation service: Communicating with the reservation service to accommodate special guest requests, both upon arrival and during their stay, ensuring a personalized experience for each guest.
- Providing instructions and information to guests: Offering guests comprehensive information regarding the hotel's facilities, services, and operating hours of various departments such as restaurants, wellness & spa center, and other amenities.
- Actively participating in selling additional hotel services: The receptionist actively promotes and sells additional hotel services, such as restaurant reservations, spa treatments, and excursions, ensuring guests are aware of all available options.
- Answering phone calls and following hotel procedures.
- Providing information on local areas of interest and activities.
- Communicating VIP guest arrivals and providing necessary arrangements: Notifying relevant staff about the arrival of VIP guests and ensures their special requirements and preferences are met, creating a personalized and memorable experience.
- Reporting malfunctions and monitoring resolution in accommodation units.
- Providing a high level of service and addressing guest requests and complaints: The receptionist delivers exceptional customer service, actively listening to guest requests and promptly resolving any issues or complaints while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. They accurately record guest feedback and take appropriate action as needed.
- Developing positive working relationships with all hotel departments: Collaborating and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues in different departments, fostering teamwork and ensuring effective communication throughout the hotel.
- Reporting to the front desk manager and management: The receptionist provides regular reports to the front desk manager and hotel management, updating them on the overall operations, guest feedback, and any significant issues or concerns that require attention.
What Do We Offer:
- Completed school IV SSS, Faculty for hotel management or professional training is advantage.
- Knowledge of the English language is mandatory and other language is advantage.
- Experience in the same or similar position for at least two years.
