We are looking for the position of:
Baker
Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients for dough mixture, mixing dough, shaping dough
- Knowledge of the range, quality, nutritional value, and use of raw materials
- Making dough from wheat and rye flour or a mixture of both (crumbly and shortcrust pastry, sponge cake, choux, puff pastry, yeast dough, puff pastry, and gingerbread dough)
- Knowledge of the equipment and tools necessary for work
- Able to determine the quality of semi-finished and finished products
- Familiar with the principles of healthy nutrition and proficient in professional baking terminology
- Checking the stock of raw materials needed for bakery production
- Maintaining hygiene in the department: cleaning work surfaces, tools, shelves, trays, chamber, baskets, and scales during the shift and at the end of the day
- Controlling the proper display and correctness of labels
- Displaying and adhering to defined positions during exposure, monitoring the range of goods, and consumer desires
- Communicating with consumers, in case of consumer complaints, directing them to the supervisor
- Acting in accordance with the prescribed safety rules and promptly and credibly
- Completing the prescribed HACCP documentation to preserve food safety.
Requirements:
- Preferably work experience in the specified position
- Secondary or tertiary education in the field of food, hospitality, or trade
- Responsible, accurate, independent, and systematic approach to work
- Ability to think logically and communicate easily with colleagues and superiors
