ADRIATIC42, a first-class yard for the servicing, maintaining and repairing of yachts and superyachts, is a joint venture company of Drydocks World (a DP World company) and PM holding (wholly owned by investment Corporation of Dubai – ICD). ADRIATIC42 is strategically located in one of the safest natural harbors in the world; the enclosed Boka Kotorska Bay in Montenegro. Our aim is to redevelop it by employing the latest equipment and the industry’s most cost-effective new techniques and services to bring the country’s renowned sector skills to the Mediterranean/Adriatic Yacht market.
Mechanical technician
We are now recruiting to put the right team in place to take this venture forward!
Subsequently an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical technician who will carry out maintenance, repair of breakdown works of equipment’s as per work instructions & yard requirements in safe and responsible manners.
Required qualifications, experience & skills
- High School diploma
- 2-3 years of experience on similar jobs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fair knowledge of English language
- Team oriented
Key responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Assist in the installation, assembly, and disassembly of machinery and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to prioritize and schedule mechanical work orders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing mechanical tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent
