Mamula Island is seeking a dedicated and versatile Night Steward and Prep Cook to join our team. This role involves managing night-time operations, ensuring a clean and organized environment, and preparing basic dishes. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing high-quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee night-time operations, including maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Prepare and cook simple, high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure timely service of meals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a stewarding or culinary role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
