Position Overview:
Lazure Hotel & Marina is seeking a proactive and dedicated Security Coordinator to join our esteemed team in Herceg Novi. As the Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, guests, and staff. Your role will include overseeing security operations, responding promptly to emergencies, and maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with security staff to monitor and patrol the property; manage surveillance equipment and control access to the building.
- Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, providing assistance in a courteous manner.
- Prevent losses and damages by reporting any irregularities observed.
- Conduct daily inspections of fire exits and staircases to ensure they are fully operational and accessible.
- Supervise employee entrances and monitor all deliveries, ensuring they are handled securely.
- Communicate politely with hotel visitors, verify their purpose of visit, and direct them to the appropriate department if approved.
- Escort any unauthorized individuals off the premises without disrupting regular operations.
- Complete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with other staff members and follow department standards.
- Attend departmental meetings and training as required.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to hotel grooming standards.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the hotel manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly responsible, reliable, and able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
