F&B Coordinator
F&B Department
Reporting to: Executive Assistant Manager i/c F&B
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for administrative duties in kitchen, restaurants and other F&B outlets
- Ensuring that managing F&B Team is informed and updated about all administrative responsibilities and about the status of administrative assignments
- Ensures that F&B team members are well-trained and that they have appropriate work uniforms and equipment
- Assisting F&B Manager, Chef de Cuisine and Executive Assistant Manager in administrative assignments
- Assisting in recruitment efforts for the F&B team, in cooperation with HR Department
- Ensures that all hotel procedures and policies are followed within the department
- Strict adherence to LQA and Forbes standards
- Ensuring that LQA and Forbes standards are followed within the department
- Keeping records of shifts and planned and realized working hours in F&B department
- Compiling time attendance reports for salary calculations at the end of the month
- Assisting in planning and recording of annual leaves within the department
- Prepares and process annual leave requests from F&B team
- Assisting in administrative assignments related to preparation of menu, printing of menus and promo offers, event materials, preparation of normative and dishes card
- Assisting in administrative assignments related to purchasing of food supplies and other materials for F&B
- Keeping the database of HACCP reports
- Assisting in events coordination from the side of F&B department
- Assisting in F&B service, as required and needed
- Comply with all hotel procedures and policies
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Traits:
- High School Diploma
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations with focus on F&B operations and/or administrative jobs
- Basic knowledge of PMS Opera
- Full proficiency in English, additional languages are an advantage
- Previous Hotel experience is an advantage
- Superb communications skills
- Ability to offer and sell hotel services
- Ability to coordinate the function of big team
- Appealing appearance
- Strong team spirit
- Driver License - B Category with prior driving experience is considered as an advantage
