We are looking for the position of:
Cook
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and adhering to all hotel standards, procedures, and rules of conduct
- Accepting all assignments from the section leader, deputy head chef, and head chef.
- Responsible for hygiene in the sector where they work.
- Maintaining sharp knives. Cooking according to specified recipes.
- Performing all other tasks as instructed by the supervisor
- Handing over/taking over the shift from a colleague in the same position
- Obligated to inform the section leader if the shift has not been handed over according to the prescribed standard
- Responsible for the quality of dishes and products in their section
- Required to taste each dish before sending it to the serving position
- Reporting malfunctions and breakages to the section leader immediately
- Informing the section leader about the stock status in the kitchen pantry
- Executing other tasks and assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in similar positions
- Culinary degree (Level III/IV)
- Responsible, accurate, independent, and systematic approach to work
- Ability for logical thinking and easy communication with colleagues and superiors
