BACK-END DEVELOPER (m/f)
International Bridge Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about backend development and thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment. If you have knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Node.js, that’s a plus, but we welcome candidates with diverse backend experience.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems to support our high-performance shipping solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend processes and integrations.
- Provide first-line support for complex technical queries from internal teams.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless systems.
- Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Continuously improve system performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience: Ruby on Rails and Node.js, or similar backend frameworks and technologies.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic workflow.
- Familiarity with database systems, API design, and version control systems like Git is a plus.
