ADRIATIC42, a first-class yard for the servicing, maintaining and repairing of yachts and superyachts, is a joint venture company of Drydocks World (a DP World company) and PM holding (wholly owned by investment Corporation of Dubai – ICD). ADRIATIC42 is strategically located in one of the safest natural harbors in the world; the enclosed Boka Kotorska Bay in Montenegro. Our aim is to redevelop it by employing the latest equipment and the industry’s most cost-effective new techniques and services to bring the country’s renowned sector skills to the Mediterranean/Adriatic Yacht market.

Required qualifications, experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in buying in an marine and yacht industry
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team oriented, Customer focused.
- Must be fluent in English.
Key responsibilities:
- Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the procurement section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
- Work collaboratively, as part of a highly skilled cross functional teams to ensure that strategies meet the needs of current and future business requirements.
- Organize the regularly review meeting with subordinates and identify the concerns to provide the best possible solutions
- Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements and exploring best possible competitive solution
- Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity
- Monitor the progress of individual buyers and initiate them to explore their concern to guide for best possible solution
- Liaise with all departments and maintain the good relationship to provide required service
- Develop new vendors in line with yards quality / price requirements
- Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement
