Houseman
Housekeeping Department
Reporting to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Houseman is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team, allocated for the Apartment & Residences Rental program. This position is responsible for the smooth operations within the department, involves driving company vehicles to assist with the transportation of linens and cleaning equipment, maintaining cleanliness of public areas and performing other Housekeeping tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving company vehicle to deliver linens, cleaning supplies and other materials to room attendants across various locations of residences and apartments
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas surrounding the residences and apartments that are part of rental program
- Assisting room attendants when needed, by providing necessary supplies, equipment to ensure timely room cleaning
- Conduct routine checks of public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards
- Collecting and transporting used and new linens and waste to designated locations
- Responding promptly to tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Performs cleaning and upkeep of designated areas
- Report any maintenance of safety concerns
- Ensure that the designated company vehicle are kept clean and in good working condition
- To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- To maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- To return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office
- To follow all LQA and Forbes standards related to Housekeeping at the highest level
- To follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards
- To follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties within the Housekeeping department, as directed by superior
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Traits:
- High school
- Driving License - B category and previous driving experience
- Solid physical stamina
- Ability to adhere to flexible working hours, as per operational needs
- Full working professional proficiency in Montenegrin
- Basic in English - verbal and written
- Previous housekeeping experience is a must
- Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards is a advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to use common tools and miscellaneous office equipment
