Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of effective sales strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients..
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to potential clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel and generate leads.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and competitor analysis to senior management.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
