We are looking for a passionate Restaurant & Bar Manager who will be a key figure in food and beverage team.
Duties and key responsibilities:
Direct activities of wait staff including waiters, bartenders, service assistants and hostesses and constantly monitor all front of house areas to ensure service and product standards are met. Perform daily team briefing to ensure information is distributed evenly
Develop and recommend creative promotional programs to maximize revenue and service targets. Plans and implements an effective sales plan and promotional activities, actively contribute and lead marketing efforts of the outlets
Act as a host in the restaurants, maintaining visibility in front of house areas, maintaining a high profile with guests and members
Control, measure and report outlets sales performance on a daily basis and take required corrective action to ensure operations are in accordance with company standards and objectives
Recruit, train, evaluate and if necessary, take disciplinary action in accordance with company standards and objectives
Forecast and schedule staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage of all areas
On a daily basis make an effort to check in with each member of the team and monitor the overall mood and operation of the team. Conduct monthly One-on-One meetings with each staff member to provide feedback and guidance on performance improvement
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and enforce personal grooming and physical appearance
Perform checkouts of servers and bartenders to ensure that all tickets are accounted and closed, actively monitor transactions for loss prevention
Constantly obtain guests feedback during operation to ensure high guest satisfaction while taking ownership of guest complaints and handling professionally
Complete understand and compliance of Montenegrin law pertaining to safety, health and labor
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform related duties as assigned by superior
Qualifications, experience and skills:
University degree or equivalent in experience and training
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role, restaurant management preferred
Demonstrable wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge preferred
Proven team building, motivation and coaching skills
Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages a plus
Knowledge of common IT programs including Excel, Word and Power Point
