POWER CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION OF CHINA LTD - DSD CRNA GORA

POWER CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION OF CHINA LTD - DSD CRNA GORA is a branch of a leading international engineering and construction company engaged in the implementation of major infrastructure projects in Montenegro. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and implement the project quality plan, defining quality objectives, control procedures, and inspection criteria.
  • Carry out inspection and acceptance of all construction materials – including rebar, cement, asphalt, aggregates, and precast elements – ensuring they meet Montenegrin national standards before use on site.
  • Monitor quality throughout all construction phases (earthworks, pavement layers, bridges, culverts, and tunnels). Organize and participate in inspections and acceptance of individual work sections, ensuring critical processes are strictly controlled and overall quality remains within approved limits.
  • Investigate quality deviations and defects, perform root-cause analysis, propose remedial actions, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and oversee corrective measures until closure and re-inspection confirm compliance, thereby preventing recurrence.
  • Collect, organize, and archive all quality-related records – including inspection logs, test reports, checklists, and audit findings. Provide regular quality performance reports to the project manager, and ensure that complete, traceable quality dossiers are prepared for final handover and project closure.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum  3 years of experience as a QA/QC or Quality Engineer in the construction industry, heavily focused on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels).
  • Deep understanding of Montenegrin national construction regulations, technical codes, and international EN/ISO quality standards.
  • Proven experience in materials testing procedures (concrete, asphalt, soil, rebar), inspection workflows, and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) for compiling technical dossiers and reporting.
We Offer:
  • Opportunity to work on a major international infrastructure project;
  • Professional and multicultural working environment;
  • Competitive salary package;
  • Training and career development opportunities.
