Job Description:
We are looking for a sports journalist who lives and breathes sports, understands the audience and is familiar with the dynamics of digital media. The person in this role will be responsible for covering current domestic and international sports events, writing original content, monitoring social media and identifying topics that engage readers. The goal is to convey the energy of sports through engaging, timely, and accurate articles - from news and analyses to feature stories and interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and editing content for the portal (news, statements, reports, analyses, interviews, features).
- Proposing topics and actively contributing to content creation.
- Working with a CMS system and understanding basic SEO principles.
- Monitoring current sports events and news in real time.
- Following athletes and clubs on social media to identify potential stories.
- Collaborating with the editorial team and the digital platforms team.
Zahtjevi
Qualifications:
- Experience in journalism (sports experience is a plus, but juniors with a strong interest in sports are also welcome).
- Understanding of digital journalism fundamentals and social media.
- Knowledge of major sports, clubs and public figures.
- Excellent command of the Montenegrin language and grammar.
- Basic skills in video recording (using a smartphone).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and respond quickly to events.
