well qualified person for the position of
FINANCE CONTROL SUPERVISOR
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in Finance / Business Administration / Economics;
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English language;
- Professional experience of 5 years in the finance/ accounting department of a retail / audit / advisory firm;
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge and working experience of IFRS;
- Strong analytical and presentation skills are required;
- Team work mentality and results orientation;
- Experience in multinational firms will be considered an asset;
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) will be considered as an asset.
Job Description:
- To supervise the financial controlling, planning & analysis, treasury and risk management operations of the company, while adhering to international accounting standards (IAS) and Group accounting policies;
- Manages the planning and analysis function, including preparation of annual business plan and monitoring performance during the year.
Main duties:
- Needs to gain an in depth understanding of the financials of the Company in order to effectively assist management decision making;
- Prepares business analysis for management in relation to existing projects/initiatives and prospective business plans;
- Prepares presentations and other material to support communication for Company / Group Management;
- Coordinates the preparation of financial reports to ensure alignment with Group guidelines;
- Establishes performance metrics and measures performance against benchmarks;
- Responsible for administering the existing system of financial controls and proposing improvements where needed;
- Performs effective risk management for the company by identifying, quantifying and monitoring risk factors.
