For the needs of our Hard Rock Cafe Podgorica brand, we are looking for a new team member for the following job position in Podgorica:
Prep Cook
JOB DUTIES OF AN EMPLOYEE:
- Keeping track of the amount of food in the kitchen and ordering missing items
- Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line.
- Providing support to the head chef in the processing of ingredients for preparation
- Providing support in serving the prepared meal
- Providing support to the head chef in keeping track of kitchen tools and utensils as well as working surfaces in the kitchen-hygiene
- Washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, helping to prepare vegetables, fruits and other food for the kitchen
- Stocking products
- Recycling products
- Properly reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System
- Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff
- Acting as a liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards
- Recycling products, where possible
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
- Performing duties which require bending & reaching
- Standing or moving for long hours
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance
- Following all uniform guidelines
- Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
- Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
