As Acquera Yachting continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the heart of Tivat, Montenegro!
Role:
As an Accountant in a maritime agency, you will manage the all the accounting process, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company procedures. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in an international environment strictly connected with our corporate structure.
Responsibilities:
- Managing income and expenditure accounts
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledger
- Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures, recording salaries and contributions
- Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial report, collaborating with Group CFO and Country Manager
- Keeping a close eye on external consultants to ensure the accurate preparation of the monthly VAT file before sending it off to the tax advisor
- Updating of the accounting archives
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the Group
- Solid experience in Montenegrin accounting
- Confidentiality, flexibility, availability
- Ability to work under pressure
