School Nurse and Office Assistant
We are looking for a School Nurse and Office Assistant. The School Nurse/Office Assistant is a professional health-care provider and is expected to deal with the accidents, injuries and illnesses that may occur to KS Montenegro learners and staff during the course of the school day. The primary job of a School Nurse/Office Assistant is to ensure that all learners are in a safe and healthy environment and to provide appropriate supervision and extended learning activities after school hours. The role will be full-time, fixed-term.
You will be responsible for tasks such as:

- Deal with the accidents, injuries and illnesses that may occur to KS Montenegro learners and staff during the course of the school day
- Ensure that all learners are in a safe and healthy environment
- Provide appropriate supervision and extended learning activities after school hours
- Seek immediate and appropriate assistance when the extent of illness or injury is beyond his or her competence
- Develop and communicate emergency response plans with all relevant members of the school community for individual learners and school wide emergencies as needed
- Educating learners on health-related issues, communicating with parents and staff about good health practices,
- Checking the cleanliness in the school,
- Liaising with competent institutions regarding health protection at the workplace
- Liaising with the Chef about food allergies
- Ooversee immunization or exclusion measures.
- Liaise with childcare providers and support services as and when appropriate
- Serve as the child protection officer and train other staff members
- Monitor and supervise use of all recreational outdoor play ensuring that health and safety standards are met and followed by all learners and staff
- Organising school uniform purchases and deliveries
- Other ad hoc administrative assistance as and when needed.
In order to succeed, you fulfil the following criteria:
- Medical high School
- Full working professional proficiency in English and Montenegrin
- Work Experience.
- Computer skills particularly Microsoft Word, Excel
- Organisation skills.
- Integrity / Reliability / Dependability / Punctuality / Attention to Detail / Professionalism.
