Duties and key responsibilities:
- Warm and graciously welcome and serve guests and members to Mövenpick Teuta Kotor Bay resort, ensuring that orders are taken correctly and product standards are maintained
- Practice upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential, seeking opportunities to deliver additional value and products. Ensure hygiene standards and cleanliness is maintained in all bar areas.
- Constantly obtain guest feedback during operation to ensure high guest satisfaction while taking ownership of guest complaints and communicating with supervisor for resolution
- Maintain stock in the bar, manage inventory, using items close to expiring and discarding items, including garnish, no longer suitable for consumption, prepare and serve drinks to a high standards
- Enforce personal grooming and physical appearance standards
- Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure the bar is ready for operation and closed after working day in line with standards, including but not limited to ensuring proper cleanliness after closing and performing deep cleaning once per week
- Register and process any transactions in line with accounting policies, ensuring proper accounting and fiscalization procedures are followed
- Ensure full knowledge of the menu, menu items and daily specials and perform related duties as assigned by superior
- High School degree required. Hospitality education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a five-star environment
- Strong mixology and spirits knowledge. Previous experience in a cocktail bar a plus
- Basic wine knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and nurture relationships
