• Warm and graciously welcome guests, escorting them to their table, seat or sunbed, taking reservations and thank people when leaving while encouraging future business
• Constantly obtain guest feedback during operation to ensure high guest satisfaction while taking ownership of guests complaints and handling professionally
• Proactively encourage and ‘sell’ all F&B outlets to potential guests
• Manage and anticipate needs, requests and wishes of guests
• Complete correct administration of guest details, recording of guest numbers for each outlet, and daily reporting of total guest numbers
• Communicate any deficiencies or problems to supervisor immediately for prompt resolution
• Ensure full knowledge of the menu, menu items and daily specials, for menus of all venues within the resort
• Communicate with restaurant and kitchen colleagues to ensure that eventual special guest requests are met
• Checking the booking lists for all F&B outlets
• Provide support to other departments when requires
• Maintain positive guest relations
• Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned by superior

• High school degree required. Further education preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a host or 2 years in a guest facing role, five star background preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent understanding of hospitality industry
• Good knowledge of F&B function
• Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages a plus
• Knowledge of common IT programs including Excel, Word and Power Point
