POSITION: Receptionist
DEPARTMENT: Front Office
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Receptionist is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring that all Front Office standards are upheld to the highest degree. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality. The Receptionist will contribute to maximizing guest satisfaction and operational efficiency in line with international 5-star service standards.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Welcome guests in a professional, friendly and courteous manner;
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately;
- Handle room reservations and promote hotel services to maximize revenue;
- Manage guest requests, inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally;
- Ensure accurate posting of charges, billing and cash handling procedures;
- Maintain proper records including guest registration, reports and daily statistics;
- Monitor and report no-show reservations and communicate with relevant departments
- Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions;
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure;
- Work as part of a team and continuously contribute to improving the guest experience
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:
- Previous experience in a similar position within a 4/5-star hotel is preferred;
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written (additional languages are an advantage);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- High level of professionalism, integrity and responsibility;
- Guest-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service;
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Team spirit, positive attitude and willingness to work in shifts;
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
