Main Duties and responsibilities:
  • Assisting with loading and unloading luggage and transferring guests' luggage: The bellboy helps guests with loading and unloading their luggage from vehicles and transfers it to designated areas, such as the lobby or guest rooms.
  • Keeping and taking care of guests' suitcases and belongings: Ensuring the safe storage and handling of guests' luggage and personal belongings, maintaining security and confidentiality.
  • Directing guests/clients within the hotel: Providing directions and guidance to guests, helping them navigate the hotel premises and locate specific areas or facilities.
  • Monitoring guests in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintaining peace and atmosphere.
  • Regulating crowds and parking: Assisting in managing crowds, especially in front of the hotel entrance, ensuring smooth traffic flow and preventing guests from parking in unauthorized areas.
  • Taking care of the main entrance and public areas: Maintaining a welcoming and presentable main entrance and public areas of the hotel, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and a positive first impression for guests.
  • Conducting tours of the hotel parking lot: As needed, the bellboy may conduct tours of the hotel parking lot to assist guests in finding parking spaces and providing information about parking regulations.
  • Resolving guests' requests and complaints: Actively addressing guests' requests and complaints, striving to resolve them efficiently and recording relevant information for follow-up and improvement.
  • Developing positive working relationships: Collaborating and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues in all hotel departments, fostering teamwork and a cooperative work environment.
  • Reporting to the head of reception and management: The bellboy regularly communicates with the head of reception and provides updates on activities, issues, and suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Completed school (SSS) or faculty for hotel management (economics major) or professional training.
  • Knowledge of the English language is highly beneficial and other language is advantage.
  • Having a driver's license (B category) is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in a similar position is desirable.
  • Teamwork and cooperation.
  • Responsibility, accuracy, and reliability.
