Position: BARTENDER    
 
Scope of Job:  FOOD AND BAVERAGE DEPARTMENT

Responsible for: GUEST SERVICE

Main Duties and responsibilities:
Operational:
  • Planning and organizing tasks within the scope of work: The bartender plans and organizes their work tasks efficiently, ensuring that all necessary preparations and service requirements are met.
  • Familiarity with the structure of the drink list and wine list.
  • Providing professional and quality service to guests: The bartender delivers high-quality service to guests, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of cocktails and drinks in accordance with the latest trends: The bartender stays updated with the latest trends in cocktails and drinks, keeping their knowledge current and being able to provide recommendations and suggestions to guests.
  • Familiarity with cocktail-making techniques and drink creation: The bartender possesses expertise in cocktail-making techniques and the creation of various drinks.
  • Supervising bar operations and preparing cocktails: The bartender oversees the operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and professionally preparing a variety of cocktails. 
  • Stock control and procurement: The bartender monitors the inventory of beverages, organizes procurement, ensures proper storage, preservation, and usage of foodstuffs, and periodically conducts inventory checks. 
  • Presentation techniques and knowledge of drink types and composition.
  • Applying hygienic and safety measures.
  • Ensuring service quality: The bartender takes responsibility for providing high-quality service, addressing any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Performing other tasks within the Food and Beverage Sector.
Qualifications: 
  • Teamwork and cooperation.
  • Responsibility, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in the given position.
  • Fluency in English, with a second language as an advantage.
  • Communicativeness and helpful nature.
