Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and guide them to their lounges. Provide menus and drink menus.
- Update guests about any special offers, promotions, or menu changes for the day. Provide detailed explanations or recommendations if needed.
- Use your knowledge of the menu to suggest dishes and beverages to guests. Encourage them to try higher-quality or more expensive options, highlighting their unique features.
- Take accurate and prompt orders. Efficiently deliver food and beverages to the lounge chairs.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer their questions, provide information about the menu items, and address any concerns or inquiries they may have.
- Maintain effective communication with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other colleagues to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Be attentive to guests' calls or signals, and promptly attend to their requests or concerns.
- Create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere during the service.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance during work hours.
- Perform any other other tasks within the Food and Beverage Sector.
Qualifications:
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other colleagues to ensure a smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively to coordinate orders, timing, and any special requirements.
- Knowledge of the English language is highly beneficial.
- Teamwork and cooperation are crucial in this beachside setting.
- Responsibility, accuracy, and reliability are essential qualities for a waiter/waitress.
