JOB PURPOSE
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests, ensuring they enjoy a seamless and memorable experience. By maintaining high service standards and demonstrating a deep knowledge of drinks, the bartender upholds Adiya Signature Hotel’s values and contributes to the overall guest experience.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver the highest level of service through the following duties:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they are seated comfortably at the bar or lounge area.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and guest preferences.
- Provide detailed descriptions of cocktails, wines, and other drinks, offering recommendations based on guest tastes.
- Take drink orders accurately and relay them to the bar area for preparation.
- Ensure drinks are served promptly, with a focus on presentation and quality.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service with attention to detail.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar stations, glassware, and equipment.
- Assist in setting up and preparing the bar for daily operations, including stocking supplies and ensuring the bar is well-equipped.
- Stay informed about seasonal drink offerings, new cocktails, and special promotions.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Process guest payments and manage billing transactions as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
- Perform additional duties and assist other team members as needed.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wines, and spirits; prior experience is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal); additional foreign language skills are a plus.
