We are looking for the position of:
Chef de partie
Responsibilities:
- Manages and organizes a team of cooks to efficiently complete assigned tasks. Equitably assigns duties to chefs within the section;
- Prepares dishes according to recipes, maintaining responsibility for quality control;
- Supervises chefs, offering constructive advice to enhance productivity;
- Sets up positions before and during food service, ensuring a smooth workflow;
- Regularly checks expiration dates on groceries and semi-finished products. Notifies the
- Head Chef of low food and supplies inventory for timely procurement;
- Ensures strict adherence to sanitary standards, providing training to section employees;
- Uses kitchen equipment responsibly, promptly reporting malfunctions to the superior ensures knives are kept sharp;
- Executes additional tasks as instructed by the superior;
- Conducts shift handovers with colleagues in the same position;
- Demonstrates alignment with the company`s values, acting as a role model and leading by example.
Requirements:
- Secondary education in culinary or another relevant field;
- At least 3 years of work experience in the specified position in hotels or restaurants;
- Proficiency in Montenegrin/Serbian and/or English;
- Responsible, precise, independent, and systematic approach to work;
- Ability for logical thinking and easy communication with colleagues and superiors;
